Panasonic P11 Hands on Review: A Well Designed Mid Range Smartphone
Camera
The Panasonic P11 boasts of an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. There's a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on the front. The rear facing camera is also capable of record videos in 720p HD format.

When GizBot reviewed the Panasonic P51, we were not convinced the rear-facing camera. It was not a memorable experience. Now we can see a slight change and improved camera optics. The Camera UI is slightly tweaked, but nothing much has changed.

Surprisingly, pictures taken in low light conditions without Flash turned out well. There is no macro mode but it can take some decent shots. Overall, the image quality is above average with less noise.

Connectivity options
The Panasonic P11 comes with an array of connectivity features: 3G, 2G (EDGE), Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and USB 2.0. Panasonic has used an old version of Bluetooth. These days most of the new handsets have Bluetooth v4.0. Panasonic could have added HDMI connectivity to enhance multi-media experience.

Conclusion
Panasonic P11 is an above average phone that excels in design, camera, Dual SIM, and battery. It would have been great to see the P11 with a quad-core processor powered by MediaTek chipset. Panasonic should not repeat a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 powered quad-core processor. In comparison to the Samsung Galaxy Grand and HTC Desire 600 Dual SIM, the P11 is priced way less - roughly at Rs. 16,000. If you search a little bit, you will get the Panasonic P11 at a price point of Rs. 15,000, which is worthy enough. Go grab it!
