Rumors indicating that Panasonic will eventually release a premium build smartphone have been circulating for quite some time, but to date have remained just rumors. For those of you not following the tech world over the past few days, we're referring to the so called Panasonic P81.

Panasonic has been teasing their much awaited P81 via series of teasers. While we already know that the handset will be launched sometime this month, but just now the company has sent a formal invite to attend the launch of Panasonic P81 in Delhi-NCR-based event.

Panasonic P81 With Octa Core CPU Support Coming Soon: 5 Octa Core Smartphones Facing Threat

Yes indeed, Panasonic has all but confirmed that its first octa-core phone will be launched officially on May 20 i.e. tomorrow. Besides seemingly confirming the launch, the invitation , by large hints at a power-packed phone. Up above is the official "Panasonic P81" launch event that touts the phone's form factor and looks in particular.

Thanks to online rumors, we know pretty much everything about the device, including its processor. The mid-range device from Panasonic is expected to cost around Rs. 19,990.

On the spec front, the device is expected to come with a 5-inch Full HD display, a 1.7GHz octa-core ‘ true' processor ( MediaTek), 2GB/1GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing shooter, 2500mAh battery, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more.
