There have been a number of rumors in the recent past speaking about how Panasonic is set to release it's new and upcoming P81 handset for the masses. Now it seems like the first official shots have already been revealed, with GizBot at the front of it all.

Panasonic has already been discussing about its much awaited P81 via series of teasers. While we already knew that the handset will be launched sometime this month, but all doubts were clarified after the company recently sent us a formal invite to attend the launch of Panasonic P81 in Delhi-NCR-based event.

Before we head too much into the device, let's take a closer look at the device's specifications that were so long a mystery for all fans and tech enthusiasts.

For starters, the new Panasonic P81 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS Display with the device running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Powered via a massively powerful 1.7GHz octa core processor, the device comes with 13MP rear camera with autofocus and flash, alongside a 2MP front-facing camera.

Apart from that, the device offers 1GB of RAM with 8GB internal space variant. Luckily, the device's memory can also be extended to another 32GB with the help of microSD. Moreover, there shouldn't be issues related to battery drainage as the device comes fitted with a big 2500 mAh Li-ion battery. Other connectivity options, however, remain the same.

Other added goodies that are coming along with the box include a premium screen guard and flip cover worth Rs. 2,000, a three month free subscription to India Today Digital Magazines worth Rs. 2,100 and complimentary Evernote premium services worth up to Rs. 1,800 for six months.
