Adding one more slider phone to its basket of offerings mobile operator Verzion Wireless has announce d recently the launch of 4G LTE-powered Pantech Marauder. According to the company press release the phone will be ship to the US market by August 2 at a budget price of $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,770) with 2-year contract.

Key Specs

The Pantech Marauder features a virtual keyboard as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for an easy messaging experience accompanied with 5-megapixel camera, 4-inch capacitive touch display screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA and Wi-Fi.

While, the company has not shared any information on the operating system of the handset, however, Pantech has informed that the device will hit the retail shelves in two variants: Starter and Standard modes. The Starter Mode provides a simplified and intuitive experience featuring only four home screens with preset widgets, and a simple, uncluttered lock screen.

Whereas, Standard mode with its fully customizable 7 home screens, and a customizable lock screen will offer access to frequently used apps. The users will also be able to switch between modes without losing any information .
