Pantech Vega No.6: 5.9 Inch Full HD Display Handset Launching Next Month

    Back in December 2012, rumor were circulating in the tech media world regarding the launch of an innovative smartphone with full HD display from emerging South Korean phone maker Pantech.

    Earlier the rumored smartphone was labeled as Pantech IM-A860 however as per the latest reports coming in, it is being launched with the name of Pantech Vega No.6. Pantech admirers in South Korea are excited as the handset is expected to be available in their area by next month.

    Earlier reports were not able to give much light on the details of the specs like what would be the display size of the handset. However, it is now clear that the handset will hit the market with a display screen size of 5.9 inches.

    The impressive display is enhanced with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Not too surprising that the most demanded Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system offers a good working platform for Pantech Vega No.6.

    A Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor running on 1.5GHz clock speed powers the smartphone. The inclusion of 2GB of RAM offers a good assistance to the operating speed of the handset. Other technical specifications of the handset are not known at the moment.

    As of now, whether this handset gets launched to US and Europe is still a mystery. The exact release date of the handset is also not specified at the moment. As like other Pantech products, Pantech Vega No.6 can also be expected to reach the stores with a standard price tag. We can look forward to more details from Pantech concerning the arrival and pricing of the handset soon.
