Now it's Philips Mobiles that's interested in the Indian mobile market. The global giant in electronics manufacturing, Philips has now plans for releasing its new edition Philips Xenium X806 dual SIM phones in India. The phone has an excellent sales record in Russia and Europe, for its extra long battery life is something that's well appreciated there. The handsets are included with some unique features and are distinctive in its configurations.

What will make the new Philips Xenium much more welcoming in India will obviously its amazing features starting with its dual SIM compatibility. The device comes with a stylish 3.0 inch display screen. The resolution is pretty good with 240 X 400 which is approximately 155 ppi pixel density. The handset is capable of handwriting recognition.

Philips Xenium X806 features a camera device with 5 Mega Pixel. It gives a 2560 X 1920 pixel support with autofocus and a LED Flash. The integrated features in the camera include face detection, red eye reduction, an autofocus and a LED flash. It however won't feature a secondary camera.

The connectivity with the Philips Xenium X806 is made very easy. The handset will have a class 10 GPS combined with EDGE technology. The Bluetooth in the device is 2.0 version with A2DP technology. For synchronization of the device, there will be an external port for miniUSB v2.0.

The media player in the new Philips Xenium X806 can play variant number of audio and video formats like MP3, WAV, WMA, MP4, etc. The phone has a well arranged organiser utility in addition to a voice memo and predictive text input. In addition to the internal memory storage of the phone, the phone supports external memory expandability with the help of a microSD card up to an 8 GB.

The power management of the Philips Xenium X806 is something worth noticing. The handset is mainly renowned for its extended battery life and performance. The new mobile handset is claimed to give a stand by time of up to 720 hours and a talk time up to a continuous 8 hours. The phone will also give an undisrupted music play up to 70 hours.

The release date for the dual SIM phone in India is not yet announced, but it's expected to hit the stores on 7^th of this September. The price details though not announced by Philips, the new mobile phone is supposed to have a price in India around a Rs 10,000.
