Consequently, Samsung the South Korean tech giant has come up with Champ Neo Duos – a non-Android handset with dual SIM capability. Priced at Rs 3,260, the Champ Neo Duos loaded with low-end specs and a touchscreen display targeting towards the first time touchscreen users.

At the same time, Asha 305 is an advanced dual SIM feature phone released into the market in August with a price tag of Rs 4,668. The Nokia offering is making scoring sales in the budget conscious market since its release.

Dimensions & Weight: Champ Neo Duos boasts a dimension of 96.9 x 54.3 x 13.5 mm and weighs in at 82 grams while Asha 305 carries a dimension of 110.3 x 53.8 x 12.8 mm and weighs around 98 grams.

Display: On the display front, Champ Neo Duos sports a 2.4 inch TFT touchscreen display with a QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

Price: On the pricing front, Champ Neo Duos is available for Rs 3,260 and sha 305 is priced at Rs 4,668.

Verdict

Both the handsets – Champ Neo Duos and Asha 305 are low cost handsets with pretty basic specifications for their price.

When it comes to the Samsung's new offering, the handset comes with a stylus support to help the first time touchscreen users to navigate through the menus and input text easily and accurately. It also has the Hop Swap dual SIM feature to switch to the second SIM easily.

Further, the handset is preloaded with apps such as ChatON, Yahoo, MSN, Gtalk, Push Mail with Active sync, Facebook and Twitter and has the access to the Samsung App Store.

On the other hand, the Nokia Asha 305 is equipped with Easy Swap to switch between the SIM cards without rebooting the handset. It is also loaded with 40 premium EA games for free of cost.

Consumers who are too concerned about the price of the handset, can opt for the Samsung Champ Neo Duos as it is priced relatively cheaper than the current opponent.

However, for those who require a larger display and a better camera, the Nokia Asha 305 could be the right one.
