Since most of the smartphones being launched in this price-range offer at least 1GB or RAM with all other goodies including a quad core CPU and a KitKat OS, Samsung might just have to beg out loud in the marketing front to bring its sales numbers for the Galaxy Core 2 to a noteworthy heights.

Moreover, Samsung is also reportedly said to launch the Galaxy Young 2 and the Galaxy Star 2 in India soon, which is said to be cheaper that the currently available Galaxy Core 2. However, these devices also come with inferior hardware, which would not be commendable enough to battle against the current smartphones with heavy specs.
Competition

As mentioned before, Xiaomi also launched its latest range of smartphones in India, which includes the Mi3, the Redmi 1S, Redmi Note and a Mi Pad tablet. Out of them - the Redmi Note - will directly stand against the latest offering from Samsung, which is now on sale online.

The Redmi Note, which is priced at Rs. 9,999 will be it's most potential rival in the Indian market. Thus, you might want to check out the specs of the handset as well.
