Samsung Galaxy F: New Concept Images Revealed

The metal-clad version of Samsung Galaxy S5, dubbed the 'Galaxy F', will reportedly make its debut sometime in May this year. Analysts believe that the high-end version of Galaxy S5 will be categorized under "Super premium "category.

Also, it will be the first such handset made by Samsung Electronics to be crafted out of premium materials, a move to take on Apple Inc. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 was rumored to arrive with all metal -body, it seems that it will be reserved for the Galaxy F.

Being a premium phone, the forthcoming Galaxy F would be priced on the higher side; even more expensive than the current version of Galaxy S5.

Rumors also suggest that the Galaxy F version will have different internal hardware. It might come with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 X 1440) display, instead of regular Full HD screen. However, we can't really say anything on the suspected device until the time one gets to see the Galaxy F in person.

Samsung Galaxy F Concept Phone

In the meantime, the Galaxy F concept has emerged out of the wild. Basically, the Samsung Galaxy F concept tries to portray an image of "super-premium" Galaxy S5 variant. The Samsung Galaxy F concept has been conceived by Ivo Marić.

The Samsung Galaxy F, as the name suggests, is a premium version of much-talked about handset of 2014, the Galaxy S5.

Samsung Galaxy F Concept: Design and Display

The high-end concept device shares similarity with S5, as both handsets measure 8.1 mm in thickness. On the design part, the Galaxy F concept handset has rounded corners and a home button under the display. It also features a dedicated camera key.

The concept device is slightly taller than the original Galaxy S5. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch display (unknown resolution). The device is made out of metal and the battery is removable. On the rear-back side you will notice a large camera lens with a Flash, and obviously the much acclaimed heart-sensor, just like the Galaxy S5. We can also see the USB 3.0 port completely sealed by a flap. Hence, the concept device might be waterproof.

The Samsung Galaxy F concept phone is intriguing but what about the internal hardware? The so-called premium version of Galaxy S5 is expected to pack much refined internal specs, when compared to the Galaxy S5 or the forthcoming HTC One Up.
