Samsung is keeping its head high and mind open. And although it faces a barrage of competition from the likes of Sony or Apple in the market, it still maintaining its habit of pushing out devices every once in a while.
The newest Samsung handset that's tipped to arrive, gathering from the recent leaks all over the web, is the brand new Galaxy Grand 3. While we are miles away from any kind of solid detail regarding the handset, it seems like the handset is indeed real and coming soon.
But there have been quite a few details already leaked for the new handset, and most of it is related to the specs of the new handset. Hence, here's a look at the top 5 things we currently know about the Galaxy Grand 3
Going by what all others are saying, the upcoming Galaxy Grand 3 is set to be quite the upgrade over the previously released Galaxy Grand 2. Going by the data, the handset is likely to feature a 5.5-inch display, which is larger than the 5.25-inch display in the Grand 2.
While we are expecting more details on the handset sooner than later, it seems like the camera is the biggest upgrade to happen in the handset. Apparently, the Grand 3 will get a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, compared to the 8MP rear and 1.9MP front-facing found in its predecessor.
This one is a no-brainer, actually. Like most of the new handsets, the upcoming Galaxy Grand 3 is also expected to feature the (comparatively) brand new Android KitKat. However, there's no word on a possible Lollipop upgrade.
Processor and Storage
According to the reports, the device will come powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon that's clocked at 1.2GHz. It will also boast Adreno 306 graphics and 1.5GB RAM. Users can also expect 16GB onboard storage with 12GB available to users.
Release and Price
Going by the fact that Samsung launched the previous Galaxy Grand 2 in December last year, there is a strong possibility that the new Grand will be launched next month and ready to hit store shelves by January next year. Also, the handset's price is likely to vary somewhere between Rs. 22,000 and Rs. 24,000.
