Galaxy Grand Duos: Jelly Bean Phablet Receives Software Updates for Stability and Blocking Mode

Good news for Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos owners out there in India! The South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the first official software updates for the phablet.

Yes! Galaxy Grand Duos has received two minor software updates. The stability improvements update measures 27.86MB and the other for Blocking Mode measures 21.17MB.

Blocking Mode is a feature in Android 4.1.2, which lets the users to disable notifications for incoming calls, alarm, timer and other alerts. Users are free to set a time when they do not want to be disturbed. Also, there a feature called 'Allowed Contacts', which allows calls from certain contacts even in Blocking Mode.

Users can check for the updates by checking on Settings → About Device → Software Update → Update
