The South Korean giant recently updated its Grand range by announcing a big ticket handset ---the Galaxy Grand Quattro. The original version i.e. Samsung Galaxy Grand had dual -core processor. The latter device just bears the brand name, as the former version is quite famous in the Indian market. Talking about the display, the handset comes with 4.7-inch WVGA display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Comparing to Zen Ultrafone 701 HD then it would be difficult for Samsung to win, as the latter handset packs 5-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It simply means the latter handset is HD ready.

Operating System (OS)

When you purchase a new handset, it is important to check whether the device is running on the latest version of Android OS or not. And do check from handset manufacturer whether the device is upgradable to immediate next version. The Zen Ultrafone 701 HD comes loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is to be seen whether Samsung have guts to crush Ultrafone 701 HD. The latter handset also flaunts 1.2-GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. So, completion is rather tough. One can ignore the price Rs. 11,999 price of Ultrafone 701 HD either. Samsung should have made Galaxy Grand Quattro at par with Micrmax Canvas HD and Zen manufactured Ultrafone 701 HDi in terms of specs, at least.
