Samsung Galaxy J1 4G Launched with TFT Display, Price starts at Rs 9,900

Samsung Electronics has launched 4G-enabled mid-range smartphone dubbed as Galaxy J1 for the Indian market at the Samsung Forum 2015 in Bangkok. It has a sleek design and it will be available in the Indian market from the second week of march. This Galaxy J1 smartphone have both TD-LTE B40 (2300) and FDD-LTE B3 (1800) for India and comes with dual SIM support.

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G - Key Specifications

Samsung Galaxy J1 4G sports a 4.3-inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 768MB RAM. This smartphone supports 4GB built-in memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the imaging factor, it features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, 2MP front-facing camera and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box. This dual SIM mobile measures 8.9mm thickness and weighs around 122 grams.

Moving on to the connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio with RDS along with sensors like accelerometer and proximity sensors. It is juiced with 1850mAh battery.

Coming in Blue, Black and White variant, Samsung Galaxy J1, will be available in the Indian market from the second week of March 2015, at a starting price of Rs. 9,900.
