The hottest tech vendor Samsung is now ready to unveil a brand new series powered by Android. The first handset under Mega series gets ‘coming soon' tag on online shopping site Saholic. The Samsung Mega 5.8 is yet to announce in the Indian market, but Saholic has already listed on its website. No release date was given, when GizBot visited the site in the morning.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 (Model no: I9152) is a dual SIM handset. As the name suggests, it comes with a giant 5.8-inch TFT capacitive display with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (190 ppi), 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD cards, an 8-mega pixel rear facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash, 1.9-mega pixel front facing camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi, 3G, Dual SIM , Bluetooth , 2G, A-GPS, and 2,600mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside. However, no release date or price was mentioned on Saholic.
Samsung is not alone, who is planning to get to unveil giant display handset in the coming weeks. Chinese major Huawei has planned to unleash Ascend Mate 6.1 in the month of June. The handset is expected to retail under Rs.30, 000. GizBot expect the Galaxy Mega 5.8 to go on sale in the second week of June at an estimated price of Rs.28, 000 - Rs.31, 000. Stay tuned to GizBot.
