GizBot has just got to know from an inside source familiar to the matter that the successor of Note 2 which got unveiled at IFA 2013 a week back, Galaxy Note 3 is slated to be launched in India on September 17, in Delhi event. But that's not all, along with the heavyweight handset the South Korean tech giant will also unveil its gadget of the year - the Samsung Galaxy Gear powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in the same event.
Originally, the South Korean giant announced during IFA tech show that the retail availability of both the devices is pegged around September 25, so we are holding on to the same dates for Indian market as well. The news of Samsung getting ready to launch Galaxy Note 3 as well as Galaxy Gear, is a kind of shocking. Looks like Samsung is optimistic about India as a smartphone market.
Moreover, India is among the first wave nations to get Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. We expect Samsung to launch Galaxy Note 3 at Rs. 47,990, whereas the Galaxy Gear would cost over Rs. 23,900.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a smartphone running on the latest version of Android (v.4.3 Jelly Bean). The phone has a giant 5.7-inch Full Super AMOLED HD format having Full HD resolution. There's a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset quad-core / 1.9GHz Exynos Octa-core SoC. India will receive the Snapdragon 800 version along with 16GB flash storage.
Moreover, Samsung Note 3 will come fused a 13MP rear facing camera with smart optimization and a 2MP front facing camera. The Note 3 is capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. RAM stands at 3GB and Indian variant comes with 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card). The makers have added a 3,200mAh Li Ion battery. Other connectivity options include: Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, MHL 2.0, and more. Samsung worked hard on the aesthetics as well as the build quality. The device supports improved S Pen.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Gear will come with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display having resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. Under the hood, there is a single core 800MHZ processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. Samsung promises up to 25 + hours of battery backup. Samsung Galaxy Gear comes in six must have colors. The watch also comes with a 1.9-mega pixel BSI sensor and 10-second 720p HD video recording is also possible. The makers have added a 315mAh non-removable battery.
