The Galaxy Note 3 is an improved version of last year's hit Galaxy Note 2. Samsung sticks to its original roots: Make the device bigger. Nonetheless, Note 3 packs a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display. It packs a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC (quad -core) coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot). The device measures 8.3mm in terms of thickness and weighs 168 grams. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 3,200mAh Li Ion battery.

The tech vendor has also made incremental changes in aesthetics of S Pen. Samsung has also added new features in the software department as well. Now, there's a 13-mega pixel rear back camera and a 2-mega pixel front facing camera. Samsung might not be interested in acquiring struggled Canadian BlackBerry, but the vendor is trying everything to lure corporate executives.
