Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Hands on Review: Made For Real Multitasking
Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Battery and Call Quality

Very few high-end phones have long-lasting battery life, and thankfully the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has managed to make a positive impression on us. On a moderate usage, the Note 3 can last up to 14 hours. By moderate usage, we mean to say a mix of calling, web browsing, video playback and obviously use of camera. The Note 3 comes with a removable 3,200mAh Li-ion battery fitted inside. As far as call quality is concerned, the Note 3 fared well in this department also. We experienced crystal clear and distortion free voice calls, may be the inclusion of three microphones have worked in favor of Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: S Pen and User Interface (UI)
Back in 2007, during the unveiling of iPhone, Steve Jobs was quoted saying that "We are all born with the ultimate pointing device-our fingers-and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse." It's true to some extent, but when it comes to experience content in a lucid manner, there's a need of an extra input mechanism. Here comes the S Pen, a stylus more response than the original one.
With the S Pen, Samsung is trying to change the perception around stylus input devices. When you hold the pen close to the screen and pressing the S Pen's button, comes a small window called Air Command. Basically, Air Command is like a mini instruction guide that simply let you to do use the following options: Action Memo, Scrap Booker, Screen Write, S Finder, and Pen Window.

Out of all mentioned options, Action Memo stole the limelight, and there's a valid reason behind it. Action Memo let you create notes. Say for instance, you have jotted down someone's telephone number, now you can save the contact/ call or search it on the web or mail the data. But we found some issues with the whole process. Due to bad handwriting, the device had problems in recognizing the text.

In the beginning, we mentioned the word "multitasking ". Now we'll justify our point. Samsung Multi Window model is indeed one the most highlighted feature. The dual-screen model will let you open two adjacent windows at the same possible time. You have an option to drag content from one window to another. Also, you can run same app in both windows. This very feature is possible only on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 due to able hardware found under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. In the coming days, the company will soon upgrade the device to the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat. What's more? The Note 3 is running Samsung's own custom user-interface, the TouchWiz. The look and feel of UI is similar that to the Galaxy S4.

There's nothing much to say about given User Interface (UI); however, My Magazine is a new addition that carry forward the idea of popular news aggregators.
