Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG Optimus G2 Both Rumored to Come With 3GB RAM


It seems like 2GB RAM is old school now, as the next generation handsets lined up for release, later this year are said to bring on the trend of 3GB RAM specifications. Samsung Galaxy Note 3, LG Optimus G2 Both Rumored to Come With 3GB RAM


One of the Korean publications claim that the LTE-Advanced version of the upcoming LG Optimus G2 will sport 3 GB RAM for the first time. It is also said that the LTE-A will be turned off because there is no other carrier except SK Telecom that offers in a commercial scale. But it might be possible that LG added the extra 1GB RAM to make the LTE-A feature run in the device with ease without any lag. Just to notify, LG was also the first to market the first device with 2 GB RAM.

Thus leaving behind LTE-A section, the other thing that is creating a whirlpool in the mobile phone world is the massive 3GB RAM. Further, the LG handset is said to come with 5 inch 1080p Full HD display with thin bezel, a qualcomm snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU, 13 megapixel camera, Adreno 330 GPU and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean layered with LG's own Optimus UI.

In another set of news by SamMobile citing a Korean report by HankYung, the soon-to-be-unveiled, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also said to hit the smartphone arena with 3GB RAM. SamMobile tweeted about Note 3 features, which said, "5.99" sAMOLED Full HD, 13MP, 8mm thick, 182gram, 3GB RAM, LTE (processor not decided yet) #GALAXYNOTEIII"

At the same time, ongoing rumors in the past have suggested that Note 3 will land this IFA Berlin 2013 featuring- Different processors in different markets, one with quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with a clock speed of 2.3GHz and the other version is rumored to feature a Samsung Exynos 5420 processor, the LTE version of the handset is also rumored to support LTE Advanced. It is expected to come with a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, AMOLED display and a 13 megapixel camera.
