Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Goes Official in 3G and LTE Variants
After months of speculations and end number of reports, Samsung today officially launched the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. One should give credit to Samsung's Polish website for making the device official.
The handset, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, appears to be a combination of original Note 3 and Galaxy Note 2. For your information, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be made in two versions: Galaxy Note 3 Neo 3G, and Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+. Further, according to official press note, the device will be made available in Black, White and Green colors. Moreover, you can buy the phone starting February this year.
As far as its specs are concerned, the Note 3 Neo features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
The 3G version of phone packs a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, while the LTE variant houses long time rumored hexa-core processor (A15 dual 1.7GHz + 1.3GHz quad A7). It does offer 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot) for super fast performance.

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean powered phone comes with an array of software additions, notably, Air Command: Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder Window Pen, S Note, Multi-Window, the new Easy Clip, direct stylus input, and My Magazine news aggregator.
Unlike the Galaxy Note 3, which comes with a 13-MP rear-facing camera, the Note 3 Neo, on the other hand, comes with an 8MP image camera sensor on the back. There is a 2MP front-facing camera too. The great about rear-facing camera is its ability to record slow motion (@30fps), fast motion, again at 30 fps, and Full HD 1080p recording facility. Just for the sake of comparison, the newly launched Oppo N1, a path breaking camera phone, does have slow motion video recording option; however, you cannot record a video in fast motion.
On the battery front, the Note 3 Neo seems to be a fantastic phone, if one asked to look at a 3,100mAh fitted battery.
Other connected options include: WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac (HT80), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, IR blaster, A-GPS, amongst other features. The device measures 8.6mm in terms of thickness and weighs 162.5g.
Samsung didn't announce how much a user has to pay for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. We suspect that the device won't come cheap, when it will be made available in Indian market. Stay tuned to GizBot!
