Android Lollipop 5.0: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Starts Getting Update in India

South-Korean giant, Samsung has started rolling out its Android Lollipop 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900) smartphone in India. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S4 also got the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India last month. Lollipop updates comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI design, refreshing notification system.

It allows the users to see the notification in the lock screen and heads up notification are displayed like banners on the top of the screen.
Additionally, there is do-not-disturb feature also added in the notification bar.

This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by the apps.
