Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Announced at IFA 2014 with 5.7-Inch qHD AMOLED Display: 10 Phablets Rivals
Just a couple of days ago, Samsung launched its most awaited smartphone the Galaxy Note 4 at the ongoing IFA 2014 trade fair along with the premium Galaxy Note Edge which utilizes unique side edges of the phone as additional display.
Anyways, today, GizBot has come up with the top 10 smartphones that are under a grave threat because of the new Galaxy Note 4 which features premium hardware and software composition. Although, the company has not revealed the pricing of the handset at the moment, by the looks of the specifications, it surely will have great entry in the market.
Nevertheless, the 10 smartphones which we have lined-up today, will not only be victim to the new monster device, but will also bring a new level of ground in competition with advanced hardware. Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Key Specifications
The Galaxy Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a pixel density of 515ppi. The display also employs Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It utilizes Qualcomm's latest quad-core SoC - the Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 420 GPU. As expected the handset will also be offered in octa core variant. This one will be powered by company's proprietary Exynos CPU, which packs an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A57 clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A53 tuned to 1.3GHz. This one would use the Mali-T760 Graphic unit.
The only difference between the two models is that the Snapdragon model offers LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps) connectivity, while the Exynos version gets LTE Cat.4 (150Mbps). Both the variants will be capable of performing a heavy multi-tasking operations as it uses a 4GB of RAM. The Note 4 runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the latest version of the home-backed TouchWiz UI layered on top.

As usual, the Galaxy Note 4 will be made available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB on-board storage variant, and all these three devices support microSD card for memory expansion up to 128GB.
In the imaging aspect, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 brings in the 16 megapixel Sony IMX240 camera sensor with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash. It is capable of sooting 4K UHD videos at 30fps. At the front, users will get to see a 3.7 megapixel sensor, which is capable of shooting images and videos in WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
Connectivity options that Samsung has provided in the Galaxy Note 4 smartphone include: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS with GLOSNASS and 4G LTE support.
The Galaxy Note 4 is fueled by a 3,220 mAh battery and the company claims that the phone is itself a very less energy consuming device.
