Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 To Boast Flexible Display, Metal Build and 16MP OIS Camera
The slumping sales of the Galaxy S5 smartphone has already given enough room for Samsung's arch-rival Apple to augment the sales of its iPhone 5s in a global scale. But the South Korean tech giant is not yet ready to face Apple's condescending success and thus it is preparing for something big, in the form of the fourth generation of the Galaxy Note device.
Yes, we are talking about the highly anticipated and most awaiting Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Breaking the usage of the conventional plastic and poly-carbonate shell in its phones, Samsung is reportedly said to be working on a new form-factor for its new phones. Yes, its the metal build that we are talking about.

According to the latest report by a Korean publication ET News, the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a premium design using metal, flexible screen, and could sport a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). All these would be in contrast with the plastic-made Note 3.

Since we have already seen the Galaxy F or the Galaxy S5 Prime, which is reportedly said to be launched with a brushed metal finish, syllogistic approach, the latest report on Galaxy Note 4 allows us to believe that the massive phablet would come with a metal body.
But again, the report also suggests that the plastic variant will also be made available. Which means that buyers will be getting two options to select from. We are not sure whether Samsung will name this plastic variant as Galaxy Note 4 Neo or not.
In another set of news, the information about the Note 4 also involves a flexible display and a 16MP OIS camera sensor. The flexible display is quite an interesting and attractive part in the phablet that Samsung might use to taunt rivals like LG and Apple. But it is yet to be revealed, how the company will use the flexible panel in the phone.
Besides the same, if ongoing rumors are to be taken into account, Samsung could use the QHD panel just like the LG G3 and Oppo Find 7.
Regarding the 16MP OIS camera revealed by the same report, Samsung might just use the home-brewed sensor that it used in Galaxy S5. But again the OIS (optical image stabilizer) is a completely new element for Samsung and it is yet to be seen how the company will make it significant in Galaxy Note 4.
As far as the launch of the phablet is concerned, there are chances of Galaxy Note 4 to be seen in September during the IFA 2014 show in Berlin.
