After the launch of Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, which has been already launched by the South Korean giant, rumors about the much forgotten Samsung GT-i9260 have reached the shores of the tech media world since last week.
The smartphone came into the spotlight again, when MobileGeeks received some new information and a picture describing the device dubbed by the name of Samsung Galaxy Premier. As per a recent newsbreak, the smartphone images have leaked again.
The latest leaked image displayed as Galaxy Premier has been leaked by what is reportedly known to be Taiwan’s National Communications Commission. While, the image did not show off any details of the features and specifications of the device, however it did reveal the full bodied sleek white coloured image of the device. Reports also indicate that the device will make its appearance in Taiwan soon, however, reportedly Samsung has so far not commented on this latest development.
What Features to Expect?
As per on going rumors, the Galaxy GT-I9260 Premier will feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but will be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and not the fancy quad-core Exynos chip inside the original Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2. The Premier’s screen will also share the same size and resolution with the older Galaxy Nexus.
Further the smartphone is informed to posses a memory capacity of either 8 or 16 GB. The GT-I9260 Galaxy Premier will also feature a 8.1-megapixel camera and have an additional 2-MP camera on the front. Other features reportedly include a microUSB port, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, HSPA support, a microSD card slot for cards up to 64GB and a 3.5mm headset jack.
Moving on there are no details provided on the battery front, however, the dimensions are informed to be 68.1 mm x 133.97 mm at rest x 8.8 mm. Citing the source from the Balkans the report also revealed that the price of the smartphone would be around 480 euros (approx Rs 38,000) and it will be available in the market in the fourth quarter of 2012.
