Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2.2 Update Coming Soon: Video Leak Hints at Galaxy S4 Features to Come

Samsung has an odd way of surprising the fans. They have conquered the mobile phone market with best devices launched recently and now again the South Korean Giant have a surprising update for the fans, especially Samsung Galaxy S3 owners. Reportedly, the pre-release version of the Android 4.2.2 update for S3 has been spotted online.

Here is a list of new features coming with this update:

First of all the Galaxy S3 will have a new S4 lockscreen with multiple widgets, two unlock effects (Ripple and Light feature as well), improved ripple effect than Android 4.1.2, ability to change clock size and set a personal message.

The device will now have a new screen modes with adapt display and professional photo, daydream, driving mode, actionable notifications, new additions in notification center. The update has brought a completely revamped UI setting that has tabbed interface exactly like the S4.

Further, the latest Android 4.2.2 update will also carry a voice controls that lets the users control various parts of the phone using voice commands. With this upgrade, when changing gallery modes to 3D, the background changes to white. It will also feature a full screen Samsung apps, new S-Voice and new smart switch widget.

However features like Daydream, driving mode and actionable notifications are already available on the former Samsung flagship Galaxy S4.

Sammobile reports also suggest that the Android 4.2.2 version for Galaxy S3 is still under testing phase but is expected to release officially (Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update) in July or August.
