Samsung has refreshed its best selling Galaxy S3 with slightly modified features. It's still hard to believe that Samsung is betting high on two years old Galaxy S3. The smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo+, is now listed on company's official website and has been officially launched in China.
The 4.8-inch HD super phone comes with dual-SIM connectivity (3G+GSM), and is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. Well, the Galaxy S3 Neo+ is different from the Galaxy S3 Mini, a compact version of original Galaxy S3 launched back in 2012.
Originally, we've heard that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, but now all of the sudden; the Galaxy S3 Neo+ has been introduced in China.
As far as physical dimensions are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo+, is more-or-less similar compared to the original device.
On the specs front, the phone comes with a regular 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD 720p HD display. Under the hood, there's a 1.4GHz quad-core processor (unknown), it could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory , which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
One of the highlighted features of Galaxy S3 Neo+ has to be the coming of dual-SIM feature. In countries like India and China, it is hard to ignore such novel feature.
Further, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and an LED Flash. Also the Galaxy S3 Neo+ is capable enough to record a video in Full HD 1080p resolution. There's a front facing camera too. The makers have added a 2,100mAh battery fitted inside, we hope it must be removable. The Galaxy S3 Neo+ comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Other connectivity features include: 3G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, A-GPS, Dual SIM, and more.
The device will soon hit Chinese market anytime; though, Samsung has to launch the device officially. There's no update available, as when Indian consumers get to see the device. Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in India for Rs. 22,990. According to IDC, the South Korean giant Samsung has maintained its dominant position in the Indian smartphone market with 32.9 percent share.
