Samsung Galaxy S3: Red Color variant coming to India Soon
Good news to all the Samsung Galaxy S3 fans in the nation. Recently, the South Korean tech giant has confirmed the availability of the Garnet red variant of Galaxy S3 in the Indian market. Reportedly, official Samsung e-store has listed the product with Garnet red color on the website and the company has confirmed that the stocks will be available by next week.
Previously Samsung has announced three color variants, apart from the black color S3. However, there is no word on the release of Amber Brown, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey colors of S3, which were also recently confirmed by the company.
Mr. Minhyouk Lee, VP and lead designer of Samsung galaxy S3 was quoted saying “Every inch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been created to reflect the natural elements that inspired its ergonomic design.” He also added, “The color options we have added evoke the phone’s emotional and natural aspects in a very simple but effective way.”
When launched Samsung Galaxy S3 was available only in two colors which included Ceramic White and Pebble Blue. With the addition of 4 new colours, users will be able to choose from six nature inspired shades.
Coming to specifications, S3 sports a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display with a high definition resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels It is powered by a quad core 1.4 GHz Exynos 4 quad processor and a 1 GB RAM. Furthermore, it features an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 1.9 MP front camera that facilitates video calling.
Galaxy S3 comes with Android 4.0 ICS operating system out of the box. However, an Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM for the same has been leaked. The smartphone packs a powerful Li-ion 2050 mAh battery. Currently, only the 16 GB and 32 GB variants of the smartphone are available, while the 64 GB version will be launched by the end of this year.
Samsung Galaxy S3 16 GB is available for Rs 38,400 approximately while the 32 GB variant launched recently is available for Rs 41,500 approximately.
