Samsung Launches Galaxy S4 Black Edition in India And S4 Value With Android KitKat Outside
South Korean smartphone giant Samsung has been known for making several variants of its flagship devices. The latest Galaxy S5 smartphone is already said to come in a rugged version called Galaxy S5 Active and also Galaxy S5 Prime.

But today the company has released the new variant of the Galaxy S4, the predecessor of Galaxy S5 - the Galaxy S4 Value Edition. The latest variant has been launched in Netherlands today via online retailer Belsimpel at the price of €398 (approx. Rs. 31,692), which was first spotted online in February 2014 in a Bluetooth SIG listing.

What's new in Galaxy S4 Value Edition? Well, it will come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, whereas the original Galaxy S4 runs on Jelly Bean. However, the other specs of the handset remains the same.
At the same time, in other set of news, we just spotted the Deep Black color variant of the Galaxy S4 smartphone on e-commerce site Flipkart in India at the price of Rs. 29,173.
For those who are not aware, the Galaxy S4 (Value Edition) comes with a 5-inch Full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset clocked at 1.9GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with a layer of company's proprietary TouchWiz UI on top.
Imaging aspect in the handset is taken care by 13 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing shooter, which is capable of shooting video at 1080p quality. The handset comes with a Dual shot and dual video recording, Drama shot, Shot and sound features.
Several connectivity options are available in the handsets like 3G with HSPA, LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct and DLNA, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, IR port for remote control functionality, microUSB port with USB host and MHL 2.0, Bluetooth v4.0 and NFC.
Further, Samsung Galaxy S4 will be offered in three variants depending on the native storage capacity of 16GB, 32 GB and 64GB. However, there is also a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The handset also retains the company's most popular features like IR gesture sensor for Air gestures, Smart gestures like Smart stay, Smart pause, Smart scroll. It is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.
