Sammy wants you to buy Galaxy S4 Zoom instead of Nokia's upcoming EOS smartphone. In the coming days be prepared to witness never seen before verbal wars between Samsung and Nokia. After the alleged leak of a video featuring Nokia EOS; it's time to say hello to Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Sam Mobile, a trusty source for Samsung related news, came up with a detailed image of company's first camera centric phone. It could be an official press shot of Galaxy S4 Zoom. From the front -panel, it looks very similar to recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, and from the rear back - a solid Galaxy camera. Interestingly, the handset is bulky just like Nokia 808 PureView. It is largely believed that the original 808 PureView was criticized for being a heavy device. In the same manner, Samsung‘s latest camera phone might face same displeasures from critics as well from consumers, when it arrives on June 20.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom just bears S4 brand name, while the specifications are not great. Basically, it's a camera phone with a 16-mega pixel rear camera on the back and 10x zoom. It will have a mechanical mechanism too. Inside the device, you will get to see a 4.3-inch Super qHD AMOLED display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded via microSD cards, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. The final specification may wary from the speculated internals. But one this is clear, Samsung is fully prepared to crush Nokia and Sony, when it comes to dedicated camera smartphone.
This coming July, one might see Nokia EOS. It is touted to be the best camera smartphone. The Finnish giant has an experience in making great camera device. Everyone remembers Nokia E95, N8 and many others. The 808 PureView was a great device with 41MP pixels ducked inside. Now the makers behind Lumia 925 are coming with EOS.
