As said earlier, when the announcement of the Galaxy S5 smartphone took place in India, Samsung said that it would release the device in the market on 11th of April, which is today. And here it is already available on multiple e-commerce sites and is priced at Rs. 51,499. The device was first unveiled globally at the MWC 2014 event that took place in Barcelona, Spain back in February.

It is powered by Octa Core Processor Adonis Prime2 (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) + XMM6360 coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS with the layer of the upgraded version of the TouchWiz UI including a new notification bar.
