Samsung Galaxy S5 To Come With New Head Gesture Control
Just a couple of days ago, Samsung which one of the major smartphone and tablet manufacturers in the world has announced its four new tablets at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas. Now the company has been preparing themselves for the launch of the company's this year's flagship smartphone Galaxy S5.
The device was confirmed by the company's senior executive few days back. He also confirmed that they would be launched along with the Galaxy Gear 2 sometime around April.

Now, published report on Thursday opens up something big as it was awarded European patent award which could hint at new capabilities for the Samsung Galaxy S5. The patent was in fact, published on Thursday, but dates back to July 2013. The patent covers a feature that the smartphone could be controlled by the movement of the user's head.

The unique gesture control would be in fact taken care by the front-facing camera of the phone which would monitor the user's head and watch for certain movements or gestures like a wink or a nod. However we have seen most of such controlling features in the Galaxy S4. Like the Smart Stay in the phone which will freeze a video that you're watching if you turn your eyes away from the screen.
However, the new patent hints at the gestures controls like a turn of head to turn the page on the screen . And any action that is set off by a head movement would require a nod to confirm which would prevent users from accidentally setting on or off a feature with an unintentional gesture or movement of the head.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 is so far rumored to come with (unknown size) QHD display, Samsung's very own and latest Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM, 16MP rear camera, Android 4.4 and would be available in 32GB and 64GB variant.
