Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets A Price Cut in India, Now Available For Rs 43,900
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is definitely an exciting device that combines monster specifications with a metal and glass design. However, it appears that the company's flagship phone hasn't quite lived up to the expectations in the world's second largest smartphone market.
The Galaxy S6 has received a near Rs. 6,090 price cut in India. Infiniti Retail, with its Croma brand of stores, has started retailing the Galaxy S6 (32GB) at just Rs. 43,900, a far cry from the original price tag of Rs. 49,990. Not just Croma, other retailers in India have already started selling the Galaxy S6 at Rs. 43,900 for the 32GB version.

The Galaxy S6 is currently Samsung's most ambitious Android smartphone and a price drop down to Rs. 43,900 in less than a month would surely send out a distress signal in the market.
And though the device's design is all new, the Galaxy S6 doesn't sport features significantly important for consumers. For instance, the Galaxy S6 doesn't allow for a removable battery. And there's no SD memory card slot to add expandable memory. This is huge misfire because typically, Samsung smartphones, particularly top-end smartphones like the Galaxy Note 4, come with such features.
Samsung might have claimed that the Galaxy S6 demand turned out to be overwhelming; but a month later, there are questions about how effective this strategy has been, in respect to the Galaxy S6.
