Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge Smartphones Are Coming to India on March 23

    Samsung has sent out the invites for the launch of much waited device Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in India on March 23rd. Initially, the two devices got released on Mobile World Congress 2015, Barcelona earlier this month and it will probably go on sale from April 10th. According to the company, already they have received over 20 million of pre-orders for the both the devices.

    Moving to the specification, Samsung Galaxy S6 sports a 5.1-inch display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. It is powered by a Exynos 7420 octa-core 64-bit chipset along with 3GB RAM. On the storage, it has 32GB/ 64GB / 128GB built-in memory, with no expansion slot. Moreover, on the imaging factors, it flaunts 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front camera on board. It is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and powered by a 2550mAh battery.

    Meanwhile, on the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge specification is almost similar to that of its cousin Galaxy S6, apart from the battery, which is powered by 2600mAh. This device has wireless charging capabilities and comes with a improved version of finger-print sensor. Also the new battery gives around 4 hours of charge out of 10 minutes of plugged in charging.

    Coming to the price, Galaxy S6 series is expected to be priced around $699 (approx Rs. 43,757) to $850 (approx Rs. 53,210). As of now the pricing is not official and it expected around March 23rd.
