Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus: Android KitKat Powered Smartphone Now Listed Online

More new devices from Samsung to look forward to. According to reports, Samsung has now listed an entry-level smartphone, dubbed Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus, via the official Samsung India eStore.

This is actually the same handset that was known as the Samsung Galaxy Star Advance smartphone that was said to be launching in India previously.

Priced at Rs. 7,335, the handset comes in Black and White colors variants, although the handset is currently out of stock. However, a device with same specifications called Galaxy Star Advance is already listed via Snapdeal. So it's not clear if this is the same device as the one that has been officially listed by the handset maker.

Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus: Highlighted Specifications

The new Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus comes with 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The device supports dual SIM and dimensions equal to 130.2 x 67.9 x 9.8 mm, while weighing in at 138 grams. It has a 3MP camera with LED Flash, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory (expandable with microSD), 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and a decent 1800 mAh battery.
