Samsung Galaxy Star Advance: Affordable Android KitKat Smartphone To Arrive in India at Rs 7,299
Of late South Korean giant Samsung has been strengthening its low-end smartphone range to better compete with domestic players, especially, in India. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 went on sale earlier last week. And now, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Star Advance (SM-G350E) in the country to dethrone Motorola's Moto E from the top spot.
According to the Mumbai-based mobile retailer, Mahesh Telecom, Samsung is indeed planning to launch the Galaxy Star Advance in India. The retailer claims the phone is priced at Rs. 7,299; although there is no official confirmation from Samsung just yet. Expect the Galaxy Star Advance to go official sooner than expected.

Samsung Galaxy Star Advance - Highlighted Specifications
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Star Advance to be low-end device with average features and internal hardware. The handset has a 4.3-inch WVGA display. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board memory and a microSD card slot.
The phone does come with a mediocre 3-megapixel rear camera, but lacks a front-facing shooter. The Galaxy Star Advance measures 9.8mm in terms of thickness and weighs in at 138g. The budget phone runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top. Connectivity options on the handset included 3G connectivity, Dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, GPS and more. The makers have added a 1800mAh battery fitted inside.
Samsung To Launch Galaxy S5 LTE in India Soon
Samsung, world's largest handset maker, will soon launch the LTE-variant of Galaxy S5 in India. The high-end handset is expected to go official shortly at Rs. 52,500. The device sports a 5.1-inch FHD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing shooter and more. The handset is powered by Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, and has a large 2800mAh battery inside.
