Samsung Gear S: Processor, Specs and Connectivity
You can treat the Gear S as a mini-smartphone in terms of specs. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. Connectivity isn't an issue.
The device can be connected Via 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS. You can also store music filed on its 4GB of native storage.
We tried to test S Voice command feature during our demo session. It worked pretty well.
The Gear S also has accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, ambient light, UV and barometer among others.
The Gear S watch is compatible with any Samsung phone running Android 4.3.
