Samsung GT-i8350, Might Hit The Market Soon!
The company is among the several partners that Microsoft has tied up in order to be a launch platform for the new Windows Phone 7 Mango Operating System. The Windows Phone 7 OS is expected to change the fortunes of Microsoft and enable it to grab a share of the Smartphone market globally that is now dominated by Android OS and to an extent by Apple"s i-OS.
Samsung has been working on a Windows Phone 7 Mango device for some time now and they have not yet revealed much about the specs and features of the smartphone. However a minute glimpse of the phone"s details has been obtained and we will discuss that over here.
The model is christened Samsung GT-i8350 and reports are suggesting that this Windows Phone 7 Mango based phone will be indeed a successor to the highly popular Samsung Omnia 7 GT-i8700.
Earlier various online sources indicated that they had reports of the model form Samsung running on Windows Phone 7 Mango was to be named Samsung i937 but now we know for sure that it would be called Samsung GT-i8350 by Samsung.
Samsung GT-i8350 will be one among several other Windows Phone 7 Mango based phones that will be launched by the end of this year. Almost every single partner of Microsoft is working on a phone to run on this new Windows based OS. The manufacturers have placed trust on this OS and they believe that it can compete well with Android based Smartphone"s and the i-Phone globally.
Samsung GT-i8350 has been reported to feature a large 480 x 800 pixel display resolution that would enable superb visual experience especially while viewing high definition content. The phone will also be available with the Internet Explorer 9 browser. However further details about the phone other than this display resolution is not available.
According to sources at Microsoft the new devices featuring the Windows Phone 7 mango OS will begin to hit markets globally within 2 months and that it will most probably be Nokia that would first introduce a mobile with the OS. Other competitors like Samsung will follow up soon with their new device Samsung GT-i8350.
