Samsung Z is not the only Tizen-based smartphone that the company seems to be working on. Looks like, the South Korean tech titan is prepping one more Tizen OS smartphone, but this time its going to be affordable.
As per Sammobile reports, a new model, codenamed SM-Z130H running Tizen OS has been recently spotted on Indian cargo site Zauba, which keeps tack of the imported/exported products in India. The smartphone landed in India recently from South Korea along with accessories, obviously sent for testing purpose.
Unlike the Samsung Z, which is the high-end Tizen-based phone, the latest one in question is apparently a low-end device.
According to Zauba listing, it is priced at Rs. 4,553, but it should be noted that the price mentioned here is a not the official one and will be changed depending on the market. However, the listed price does give us a fair idea in speculating the price of the final product.
Since price determines most of the aspects of any product, we can assume that the SM-Z130H is a low-end phone with entry-level specs. Moreover, since Samsung had announced that Tizen could run on phones with as low as 256 MB of RAM, you can expect similar RAM clock in the handset. However, we are not sure about the specs of the handset until now.
Obviously this will be the second Tizen-based smartphone after the Samsung Z, which might be announced by the sought Korean smartphone maker soon. If you are not aware, Samsung also shipped Galaxy S5 based on Tizen OS in India for similar testing purpose. It was listed on the same website.
