Tech giant Samsung launched its high-end smartphone Galaxy Pop SHV-E220S , earlier this year. More recently the company has unveiled a new colour for the smartphone in South Korea. Apart from white and gray, the galaxy pop will now be available in orange colour variant, as well. Samsung hopes to capture the the interests of younger smartphone users, with the colour.

Samsung is known to provide a variety of color options for their smartphones. Bright orange does seam a little unusual for an handset, but then again it sure does remind you of the refreshing citrus fruit. Warning, do not try and eat your smartphone, user discretion is advised!

Besides the colour change, there are no changes in the smartphone's specifications.

Galaxy Pop which runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, comes with a Super AMOLED display of 4.6 inches, 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, connectivity options including Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, NFC and 4G LTE connectivity and a 2,100 mAh battery.
Galaxy Pop is not yet available in India and there is no information on if or when, the smartphone might be released. Gizbot will let you know more, if we get some more information.
