Samsung's first ever Tizen-based Z1 smartphone which was launched at Rs. 5,700 few months back, is now available for Rs. 4,990 on the companies e-retail store.

Samsung Z1 - Key Specifications

Moving on to the specifications, Z1 comes with 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor with Mali 400 GPU along with 768MB RAM.

This device comes with 4GB of internal memory with an expansion slot up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Also it comes with Samsung's very own OS Tizen OS 2.3. This dual SIM mobile carries a dimensions of 9.7mm thickness and weighs around 112grams.

On the imaging side, it employs a 3.1MP rear camera with LED Flash, VGA front-facing camera and it is juiced by a 1500mAh battery.

Coming to the connectivity, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, A-GPS and it has Tizen store, through which all the apps can be downloaded.

Meanwhile, as per the report on TizenExperts, Samsung is in the process of developing the Z2 along with another unnamed Tizen smartphone.

If the rumor turns out to be true, then the Tizen Z2 will come packed with a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM along with an 8MP rear camera.
