    Samsung's home baked Tizen smartphone Z1, which was launched in India few months back has received a fresh over-the-air (OTA) update.

    This update with a build number Z130HDDU0BOD7, comes at a size of 17.3MB. This update contains several bug fixes, improvements, as well as a new WhatsApp shortcut (details in the image above). The update is reportedly only available in India at the moment.

    Moving on to the specifications, Z1 comes with 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor with Mali 400 GPU along with 768MB RAM.

    This device comes with 4GB of internal memory with an expansion slot up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Also it comes with Samsung's very own OS Tizen OS 2.3.

    This dual SIM mobile carries a dimensions of 9.7mm thickness and weighs around 112grams. On the imaging side, it employs a 3.1MP rear camera with LED Flash, VGA front-facing camera and it is juiced by a 1500mAh battery.

    Coming to the connectivity, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, A-GPS and it has Tizen store, through which all the apps can be downloaded.
