Samsung Z2: Second Gen Tizen Smartphone Leaked in Images
The first-generation Samsung Z1 hasn't been a huge hit for the South Korean giant. There are a lot of reasons why the Samsung Z1 failed, but the key is that Samsung provided no good reason for consumers to buy it. Samsung, it seems, can't help but fail (literally) in various ways to deliver an impactful experience with its first ever Tizen OS-powered handset.

It has been sometime since the original Samsung Z1 was released, and now the handset manufacturer has to compete with other low-end handsets in the field such as Motorola's Moto G (Gen 2), the Microsoft Lumia 430, and the Xiaomi Redmi 2.

Now if reports are to be believed, Samsung is readying the second-generation Tizen OS-based phone in the coming months. Now, leaked images, purportedly of the upcoming Samsung Z2, are circulating online. Design-wise, it seems that the handset does look like all that different from its predecessor. However, it appears to have a bigger screen and features the home button below the display.
There are no official details yet about the second-generation Samsung Z1, other than leaks. However, the device might get released in the second half of 2015, much before the holiday season.
According to rumours, the Samsung Z2 is expected to feature a quad-core processor, a qHD (960 x 540) display and a large battery life. The much-awaited phone is expected to launch in India, China, Russia and Korea.
