Looks like Motorola is planning to unveiled the successor to the Moto E. Motorola still hasn't confirmed anything but it's clear that a new Moto E will join the second-generation Moto E in the coming days to come.

As Motorola Moto E2 rumors continue to swirl, a new report has allegedly confirmed the existence of the device, alongside its specifications. According to a report from Greece, the second-generation will soon be a reality. The site allegedly confirmed that the Moto E2 to feature improved hardware internals, and will apparently runs Android 5.0 Lollipop from day one.

The website also mentioned of the added allegedly confirmed features of the device. It still seems to be a low-end device with a qHD (960 x 450) resolution.

The device may feature a 4.5-inch handset. The handset could feature a Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, paired with 1GB of RAM. Other reported specs include a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and LTE connectivity.

It's clear, from where we're standing, that the Moto E2 is going to come with the usual spec upgrades fitting of a device from 2013. Rumors have continually pointed to new processors and it looks like the Moto E2 could feature the latest Qualcomm chipset.

As far as hard specs, there really isn't too much here we didn't already expect. We'll know everything shortly once the all new Motorola Moto E2 is officially unveiled.

In the meanwhile, the first-generation Moto E is now available for Rs. 6,999 via Flipkart. The handset comes with a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera, and a modest 1980mAh battery.
