LG Optimus 3D generally has a dimension, 128.8 X 68 X 11.9 mm and weighs just 168 g. The screen will be essentially 4.3 inch or an upgraded one with increased dimension, 3D LCD capacitive touch screen with 16 M colors. It supports 480 X 800 pixel and is enabled with features like an Accelerometer sensor for UI auto rotate and a proximity sensor for auto turn off. It has a Gyro sensor and certain other touch sensitive controls too.
The memory specification of the new LG Optimus 3D will be 8 GB internal supported with a 512 MB RAM for faster computing. The configuration might have an even more updated configuration. The memory of the handset can be extended to 32 GB externally by using a microSD card. For accessibility to network services over internet, the handset is equipped with a class 10 GPRS combined with the improved EDGE technology. The new mobile phone is obviously a 3G compatible. For connectivity of the mobile phone with other devices and wireless internet modems, the new mobile handset is loaded with a newer version WiFi device and a Bluetooth version 2.0 supported with the A2DP.
The Android in the new mobile phone is a version 2.2 (Froyo) which can be later upgraded to a version 2.3. The processor is heavily loaded with a dual core 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processors.
Another main highlight of the LG Optimus 3D is its Dual 5 Mega Pixel camera device. The device has many integrated image capturing and editing features like an autofocus, geo tagging, stereoscopic videos and photo modes. The LED flash built in comes handy while video capturing which is capable of 720p at 30 fps.
The LG Optimus 3D will have general smart phone attributes like a healthy organizer and gallery features. Other online applications would include YouTube, Google Talk, etc. The manufacturers haven't released the price in India of the smartphone yet. The high end smartphone is expected to hit the stores next year.
