Sony Drops Online Price of Xperia Z2 in India Ahead of Sony Xperia Z3 Launch: 10 Best Deals to Buy

Sony has been one of the primary names in the Indian handset market for a long time. Right from the days of its collaboration with Ericsson, Sony has been there alongside others such as Nokia. And although the shift from Ericsson to Xperia has already been made long time ago, the company still remains one of the primary names in the business.

The Xperia Z2, which has now seen a major price cut with the Xperia Z3 release imminent in India, features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, coupled with 3GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sony's home baked proprietary skin on top.

The device offers 16GB of ROM, which can be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The makers have added a 3200mAh battery fitted inside. On the imaging front, there's a 20.7MP camera with Exmor R for Mobile sensor.

The phone's camera is also capable of shooting videos in 4K resolution. Like other Sony Xperia devices, the Xperia Z2 is water-resistant and dustproof in nature. Other highlighted features of the smartphone include 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, amongst others.
