Sony Ericsson Phones Now More Secured With McAfee
Now with the smart phones and touch pads playing a major role in data storage and transactions, it has become very necessary to ensure the safety of such devices from spywares, malwares and similar undesired virus softwares. Many antivirus software designers have come forward with effective softwares to ensure a safe mobile computing. McAfee, a name so trusted in the field has introduced new security software. The debut is made first on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. It is announced that the security software from McAfee would come pre installed in the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro.

The new software will have some advanced features and options that would ensure the browser security in the phone. The software not only secures the browser, but secures the device as a whole with its improved features. The software enables the user to keep a track of their handset with the alarm and a location tracker. The remote lock in the software will prevent any unauthorized use and handling of the device or the data within. Another magnificent feature is the data retrieval or restore in the phone even from a misplaced or lost phone!

The malwares affecting the safe running of the handsets will now have them defended by the McAfee security software. The virus usually affects the phone while downloading content from the net or through e-mails or even from instant chats.

President of McAfee, Todd Gebhart stated that the innovative design of the software is indeed a mile stone in the mobile and data protection software designing. With the chances of data in a lost phone getting misused are high and also the retrieval of important financial data is crucial, he expressed his hopes that the new McAfee Mobile Security Software will successfully be able to offer a quality service to its users.

The details regarding the information and data other external devices can access is strictly monitored with the software. Users can customize the options and set personal attributes. With the software, the device can be accessed by only allowed persons, the list being set by the user will block all the possibility of an unwanted access to the device.

The new Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro will have the software pre installed in it. But the handsets that have already been purchased yet will have to wait for their upgrade. It is however not announced when those mobiles will get their software upgrade but it may soon be available for download in the Sony Ericsson PC companion software.
