Sony Honami i1: New Case Hints at Sony Xperia Z Like Form Factor
If Samsung is ready with Galaxy Note 3, another tier-1 player Sony is eyeing IFA Berlin to announce its much awaited Honami i1 smartphone. From specifications to images, GizBot has informed you everything about Sony's next flagship handset.
The Android powered Honami i1 is said to have a 20-mega pixel camera with G lens. The rumor land is abuzz with different stories about "One Sony "phone. According to one report, the Honami i1 will have Cyber-shot branding on the top.
We tried to contact Sony India, and found that no one from the Japanese giant is ready to share any concrete details about the forthcoming Honami device. However, a senior over at Sony India told us that the company is making a handset to dethrone dedicated camera phones like Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and Nokia Lumia 1020. Clearly, Sony understands that in the coming months, it would be difficult to sell a phone with 13MP shooter.

Meanwhile, according to a report by Techkiddy , an alleged Thermoplastic Polyurethane case made for Honami i1, has been freely available on China's reputed shopping site Alibaba. The Honami i1 has been appeared on the web many a time, so it is not difficult to ignore this thick plastic case.
Going by the picture, one can say that the Honami i1 looks similar to Sony Xperia Z in respect to design and form factor. It seems that Sony wanted to stick with a 5-inch Full HD panel for a moment in order to complete with likes of iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4.
Earlier it was said that the Honami could flaunt a large size camera sensor placed at the rear back. Now it seems that the report was wrong, instead the device will have small size camera sensor with an LED Flash. It's not confirmed whether Sony Honami i1 has a 20MP camera resolution or not.
The Honami will have a 5-inch Full HD display similar to that of Xperia Z. The phone is also expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Other highly rumored specs include: 4G LTE-A, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, amongst others. There is a possibility to see a 3,000mAh Li Ion battery inside.
