Sony Xperia J1 Compact Launched With 20.7-Megapixel Camera, 4.3-Inch Display

Sony Mobiles has unveiled a " SIM-Free" smartphone in the Japanese market. Dubbed as Sony Xperia J1 Compact (D5788) it will be launched with NTT DoCoMo on April 20. This device is the first LTE communication "PLAY SIM" device with MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) support, that offers voice calls plans on NTT DoCoMo to the consumer needs, according to Sony.

Sony Xperia J1 - Key Specifications

Sony Xperia J1, sports a 4.3-inch HD display, with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB RAM under the hood. On the storage, it has 16GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded via microSD card slot.

Sony Xperia J1 Compact Launched With 20.7-Megapixel Camera

On the imaging factor, it flaunts a 20.7MP rear camera with flash, 2.2MP front facing camera on the board. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, it carries a dimension of 9.7mm thickness and weighs around 138grams.

Moving to the connectivity, this device supports 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. Moreover, this device is powered by a non-removable 2300mAh battery.

Sony Xperia J1, will be available for pre-orders starting from March 27, along with a price tag of JPY 59,184 (approx Rs. 30,624)
