Sony Xperia C3 Full Review: A Selfie Smartphone That's More Than Just Selfies

Sony Xperia C3 Full Review: Camera and Video
Okay. The handset is actually a selfie phone and that shows with the front facing snapper inside the handset. The front camera is actually good and selfie lovers will surely take a liking to it. The camera captures a good amount of detail that also treats light pretty well.

The image quality hasn't been much of issue since they are natural and camera software works extensively to reduce any kind of noise for better imaging. Also, the soft flash at the front is quite useful since it won't be too harsh on the subject. On the contrary, the images come out pretty nicely.

However, we are disappointed to say this, and usually you don't hear such things about Sony handsets, but the back camera is not up to the mark. By default, the camera will shoot images at 5MP resolution. Most of the shots turn out blurry (simply because it has issue focusing), while others are of the most average quality.

Nonetheless, the camera app does offer a few modes that include Superior Auto, Manual, AR Effect, Picture Effect, Timeshift Burst, Social Live, Sweep Panorama and Portrait Retouch. And apart from other such modes, the HDR mode can also be found lying deep inside the camera settings.
