Japanese tech giant, Sony ahead of MWC 2015, has announced, two new budget smartphones followed by the leaks. Dubbed as Xperia E4 and E4 dual, it is the successor of E3 and E3 dual which was introduced at the IFA last year. This smartphone is expected to be showcased in the Mobile World Congress 2015, which is to be held between March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain.
Sony Xperia E4 and E4 Dual - Key specifications
Sony Xperia E4 and E4 Dual both sports a 5-inch qHD IPS display with 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU along with 1GB RAM. On the storage capacity, it comes with 8GB of internal memory, with an expansion slot up to unspecified storage via microSD card slot.
Coming to the camera department, it features 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Xperia comes in two variant E4 with single SIM capacity and E4 dual with dual SIM capacity. Also it carries a dimension of 10.5mm thickness and weighs around 144grams.
Moving on to the connectivity, both the smartphone supports 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and powered by a 2300 mAh battery with Battery STAMINA Mode.
Coming in Black and White variant, both the Sony Xperia E4 and E4 dual will go on sale in mid-february. As we dont know the exact releasing date and pricing, we are expecting further information in upcoming days
