Almost all the smartphone brands operating in India have gradually initiated following all possible means and ways to increase the sales of their products in the sub-continent. Specially in the smartphone segment, now the entry of the HTC in the affordable range and has been observed.

The strong players like Micromax have been fighting to win the competition in the affordable range. Working towards the same aim, the company recently launched the 6 inch massive device called the Canvas Doodle 3 in India at an alluring price of Rs. 8,500.
While Micromax launched its recent device, Sony on the other hand also released its mid-range phone called the Xperia M2 Dual, which is a successor to the company's Xperia M launched last year. These two devices from Micromax and Sony have been spoken about a lot in Indian market.

Sony Xperia M2 Dual
The Xperia M2 Dual comes with a 4.8-inch capacitive touch screen display (960 x 540 pixels). The smartphone which measures 8.64mm thick and weighs 148 grams draws its energy from a 2300mAh battery.
Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 A120
The Canvas Doodle 3 comes with a 6-inch touch screen display offering a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor coupled with 512MB RAM and it runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. There is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash in the device and also a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing snapper can be found in the device. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and obviously the smartphone comes with a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby mode. The giant smartphone comes with 4GB of native storage capacity but it can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
